Q: How much experience do your therapists have?
A: We have 12 physiotherapists on staff with 3 to over 30 years experience. If you are searching for a particular skill set for your clients, please call the clinic, or review Our Team page.
Q: How quickly will a client be seen for their first appointment?
A: We will make every effort to book an appointment within 24 hours. We always hold back a couple of same-day appointments for emergencies.
Q: How many treatments will be needed?
A: Every condition is individually evaluated, based on the person and severity of their condition and patient activity expectations. The treating physiotherapist will advise your client of an appropriate treatment plan after their initial assessment. If you require a report, let the reception staff know and the treating therapist will contact you. You will be charged for any written reports or extended telephone reporting.
Q: How long will your client be in the clinic for each session?
A: This depends on the injury and type of treatment. Standard treatment sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes. If you have a client requiring an active rehabilitation program, we offer services ranging from 1 ½ hours to 4 hours.
Q: Do you offer return to work services?
A: We offer a wide range of programs related to injured workers and return to work. For a complete listing, please see our services tab – occupational evaluation. Some of these services operate out of our rehab location at the YWCA downtown – Workshape clinic.
Q: Do you offer Hydrotherapy?
A: Yes. Out of the Workshape location at the YWCA at Hornby and Dunsmuir downtown. Please contact Kerry at email@example.com for details and to set up an appointment.
Q: How do I set up a client with an appointment?
A: Give us a call at 604 684 1640 with your clients’ information and we will contact them directly to set up a time that works.
Q: What do you need the client to bring?
A: Either you or their client should bring in or email us:
- A written referral
- Any test results – X-ray, MRI, CT etc
- Any reports from other medical practitioners
Q: Is your clinic centrally located?
A: Yes, we are located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. We are easily accessed by public transport, bike paths, and have ample parking around the area.
