Kaitlyn graduated with honours from Western Kentucky University where she completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science all the while competing as a Division I , NCAA athlete. She spent two years working alongside the NCAA Div. I football team, as well as several other varsity sports teams during her time down south. Upon her return to Canada, she spent time working as a personal trainer and as a group fitness leader before she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia. She has studied at a few of the top physiotherapy schools around the world; Emory University , Curtin University and The University of British Columbia. She has postgraduate level certificates specifically in orthopedics and Kineticore Functional Dry Needling. She most recently received her Advanced Certificate of Orthopaedic and Manual Therapy in Portugal. Kaitlyn’s treatment philosophy incorporates manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, education along with self management and posture correction strategies. Her interests outside of physiotherapy include olympic weightlifting, CrossFit training and coaching.
